Who We Are

CalcsHub.online is an independent, multi-niche calculator platform built and maintained by a small, hands-on team of developers. We currently offer 164 free online calculators spread across six categories — Freelance & Work, Home & DIY, Immigration & Visa, Baby & Parenting, Pet Care, and Health & Fitness — and we're adding new tools regularly based on what people actually search for and ask us about.

Why We Built CalcsHub

Most calculator sites online fall into one of two traps: they're cluttered with intrusive pop-ups and paywalls, or they run on copy-pasted logic that quietly gives wrong answers. We started CalcsHub to fix both problems at once — a place where you can get an answer to a specific, practical question (How much should I charge as a freelancer? What's my BMI? How many CRS points do I have for Canada?) in seconds, without creating an account, without a subscription, and without wondering whether the math underneath is actually correct.

How We Build and Verify Our Calculators

Every calculator on CalcsHub is built around a real, named formula or an official government/industry standard — not a generic guess. A few examples of the sources we build against:

• Health & Fitness: the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR/calorie needs, the U.S. Navy circumference method for body fat, the Boer formula for lean body mass, and the Riegel formula for race time prediction.
• Immigration & Visa: Canada IRCC's official Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tables and Australia's Department of Home Affairs skilled migration points test.
• Baby & Parenting: American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) feeding and growth guidelines.
• Pet Care: AKC and veterinary-published dog age and nutrition research.
• Freelance & Home/DIY: current tax brackets, platform fee schedules, and standard trade/construction formulas, which we cross-check against official rate sheets and recalculate whenever underlying figures change.

Before any calculator goes live, we manually test its formula against known reference values — for example, checking that our body fat calculator returns the same result as a published Navy method example, or that our CRS calculator matches IRCC's own scoring grid line by line. When we find an error, either through our own testing or a reader report, we fix it and note the update.

Our Content & Update Process

Government thresholds, tax rates, and program rules change over time — particularly on our Immigration & Visa and Freelance & Work tools. We periodically review our calculators against current official sources and update figures as programs change. If you ever spot a number that looks out of date or notice a calculator behaving unexpectedly, please let us know — reader reports are one of the main ways we catch issues quickly.

Privacy & How We Support This Site
